Submersible Water Level Sensor Transmitter

 

Principle

The operating principle of the drop type liquid level gauge is based on static pressure level measurement. In a liquid medium, the pressure generated at a certain depth is generated by the weight of the medium above the measuring point. It is proportional to the density of the medium and the local acceleration of gravity. The proportional relationship between them is reflected by the formula P=ρGH. Therefore, the physical quantity measured by the drop level meter is actually pressure, which can also be known by the calibration unit of the level meter. The actual liquid level needs to be obtained by conversion after knowing the two parameters of density and gravitational acceleration. This conversion is usually done by a secondary instrument or PLC on an industrial site.
